“‘Observe my Sabbaths and have reverence for my sanctuary. I am the Lord. Leviticus 19:30 GNT It is written,” he said to them, “‘My house will be called a house of prayer,’[a] but you are making it ‘a den of robbers. Matt 21:13
Be careful, then, and do not refuse to hear him who speaks. Those who refused to hear the one who gave the divine message on earth did not escape. How much less shall we escape, then, if we turn away from the one who speaks from heaven! His voice shook the earth at that time, but now he has promised, “I will once more shake not only the earth but heaven as well.”
The words “once more” plainly show that the created things will be shaken and removed, so that the things that cannot be shaken will remain. Let us be thankful, then, because we receive a kingdom that cannot be shaken. Let us be grateful and worship God in a way that will please him, with reverence and awe; 29 because our God is indeed a destroying fire. Hebrews 12:25-28GNT
Happy are those who reject the advice of evil people, who do not follow the example of sinners or join those who have no use for God. Instead, they find joy in obeying the Law of the Lord, and they study it day and night. Psalm 1:1-2
I gave them your message, and the world hated them, because they do not belong to the world, just as I do not belong to the world. 15 I do not ask you to take them out of the world, but I do ask you to keep them safe from the Evil One. 16 Just as I do not belong to the world, they do not belong to the world. 17 Dedicate them to yourself by means of the truth; your word is truth. 18 I sent them into the world, just as you sent me into the world. 19 And for their sake I dedicate myself to you, in order that they, too, may be truly dedicated to you. John 17:14-18 GNT This is the petition of Jesus to God on our behalf. Bless our Savior that while we were in sin he would ask the Father to dedicate us onto him.
But I call to the Lord God for help, and he will save me. Morning, noon, and nightmy complaints and groans go up to him, and he will hear my voice. He will bring me safely back from the battles that I fight against so many enemies. Ps 55:16-17
