Promise of Joy For Obeying the Lord

Happy are those who reject the advice of evil people, who do not follow the example of sinners or join those who have no use for God. Instead, they find joy in obeying the Law of the Lord, and they study it day and night. Psalm 1:1-2

Promise to Petition on Your Behalf

I gave them your message, and the world hated them, because they do not belong to the world, just as I do not belong to the world. 15 I do not ask you to take them out of the world, but I do ask you to keep them safe from the Evil One. 16 Just as I do not belong to the world, they do not belong to the world. 17 Dedicate them to yourself by means of the truth; your word is truth. 18 I sent them into the world, just as you sent me into the world. 19 And for their sake I dedicate myself to you, in order that they, too, may be truly dedicated to you. John 17:14-18 GNT

This is the petition of Jesus to God on our behalf.

Bless our Savior that while we were in sin he would ask the Father to dedicate us onto him.

Promise to Hear, and Save

But I call to the Lord God for help, and he will save me. Morning, noon, and nightmy complaints and groans go up to him,  and he will hear my voice. He will bring me safely back from the battles that I fight against so many enemies. Ps 55:16-17

Promise to Open Eyes and Hearts

Open my eyes, so that I may see the wonderful truths in your law.

Promise of Godless People

For some godless people have slipped in unnoticed among us, persons who distort the message about the grace of our God in order to excuse their immoral ways, and who reject Jesus Christ, our only Master and Lord. Long ago the Scriptures predicted the condemnation they have received. Jude 1:45 GNT

Thank God for the Holy Spirit, the revealer of truth and the source of discernment.

Promise of Peace and Freedom

For God wants you to silence the ignorant talk of foolish people by the good things you do. Live as free people; do not, however, use your freedom to cover up any evil, but live as God's slaves.
1 Peter 2:15-16 GNT

Promise of a New Babylon

Do not love the world or anything that belongs to the world. If you love the world, you do not love the Father. Everything that belongs to the world—what the sinful self desires, what people see and want, and everything in this world that people are so proud of—none of this comes from the Father; it all comes from the world. 1 John 2:15-16 GNT

This the new Babylon.  The prophets describe Babylon as the city of pride and idolatry.
