Promise Through the Son

God's Word through His Son ] In the past God spoke to our ancestors many times and in many ways through the prophets, but in these last days he has spoken to us through his Son. He is the one through whom God created the universe, the one whom God has chosen to possess all things at the end. Hebrews 1:1-2 GNT

To know the Son is to know the Father.

Promise for Trusting in Christ

Christ's message in all its richness must live in your hearts. Teach and instruct one another with all wisdom. Sing psalms, hymns, and sacred songs; sing to God with thanksgiving in your hearts. Colossians 3:16 GNT

Your toughest test of faith sometimes are the challenges from others questioning your logic for trusting in a God they do not understand...the problem is not you---it's their lack of understanding. Trust God and allow his message to live in your heart

Promise to Reverence

“‘Observe my Sabbaths and have reverence for my sanctuary. I am the Lord. Leviticus 19:30 GNT

It is written,” he said to them, “‘My house will be called a house of prayer,’[a] but you are making it ‘a den of robbers. Matt 21:13

Promise for Refusing to Hear

Be careful, then, and do not refuse to hear him who speaks. Those who refused to hear the one who gave the divine message on earth did not escape. How much less shall we escape, then, if we turn away from the one who speaks from heaven!  His voice shook the earth at that time, but now he has promised, “I will once more shake not only the earth but heaven as well.”
The words “once more” plainly show that the created things will be shaken and removed, so that the things that cannot be shaken will remain.  Let us be thankful, then, because we receive a kingdom that cannot be shaken. Let us be grateful and worship God in a way that will please him, with reverence and awe; 29 because our God is indeed a destroying fire. Hebrews 12:25-28GNT

Promise, Justice is The Lord's

Say to all the nations, “The Lord is king! The earth is set firmly in place and cannot be moved; he will judge the peoples with justice.” Psalm 96:10

For the people of Ferguson, St. Louis.
